Butler County, Kansas Government says The Driver’s License office located on the first floor of the Historic Courthouse in El Dorado, the Butler County Treasurer’s Office and both Butler County Motor Vehicle Offices will close early on Friday, December 29th. The El Dorado Motor Vehicle, Treasurer’s and Drivers License Offices will close at 12 PM on this date. The Western Office will close at 11:30 AM on this date. Due to the New Year’s holiday the offices will be closed, along with all other non-essential Butler County offices, on Monday, January 1st, in observance of New Year’s Day.
