The Winfield Main Street Committee of the Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce is organizing another Lighted Christmas Parade to take place Saturday, December 9 th on Main Street from 17 th to 10th Avenues. The parade will begin at 6:30 PM. This year’s theme is “Vintage Christmas” to round out Winfield’s Sesquicentennial Celebration year. The committee is looking for businesses or organizations to put together lighted floats, drive vehicles decorated in lights, or walk/march/ride bicycles or horses donned in lights. As in past years, no candy will be thrown during this parade but walkers are welcome to hand out treats and other giveaways along the parade route. Organizations interested in having a float in the parade can sign up online at winfieldchamber.org.
