Members of the community are invited to join Winfield Fire/EMS for the sixth annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Southwestern College. This free, family friendly event honors the 343 NYFD firefighters, 27 NYPD officers, and 37 Port Authority officers that made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. To help honor their legacy, each participant will be given a photograph of one of the fallen to symbolically complete the climb with a hero. It begins at 8am on September 11th.
