It’s the Winfield Police and Fire/EMS departments versus the Arkansas City Police and Fire-EMS departments in a Battle of the Badges blood drive. Battle of the Badges builds camaraderie among local first responders through a friendly competition to see who can recruit the most blood donors. Supporting the Red Cross blood supply is another great way to touch lives in the communities you serve every day. The event in Winfield is set for July 14th, noon until 6 p.m., at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Family Life Center. The event in Ark City is the next day, July 15th, 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Central Christian Church.
