“Spring into Action for Healthcare Community Celebration,” a community event organized by Southwestern College senior Maria Collins, will be on Friday, April 22, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Island Park in Winfield. There is no admission charge and the public is encouraged to attend. The event will feature live music by Loose Ends, the Nieves and Taters N’ Toppings food trucks, and free cupcakes for the first 100 local healthcare workers.
