SCK Health – Medical Center says The Red Cross announced in January that our nation is facing the worst blood shortage in over a decade. SCK Health’s CEO, Jeff Bowman, and the Hospital Board’s Vice Chair Kanyon Gingher have worked with our local representative Bill Rhiley and the Red Cross to receive additional blood allocations to ensure the needs of Cowley County are met. To further serve the community, the administrations of SCK Health and WNH are collaborating to support our communities during this time. CEO Bowman said, “There has never been a time in healthcare that is more important for communities to come together. SCK Health continues to identify the health care needs of the county and works to support all healthcare providers in partnership with WNH.”
