Citizens are urged to avoid the southwest portion of Wilson Park throughout the winter as construction begins on Phase 1 of the Wilson Park Master Plan. Staking and inspection began last week for the new parking lot, and the contractor began staging equipment and preparing for dirt work early this week. Construction is expected to last through March or possibly April, depending on weather.
