Classes at Arkansas City High School will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Thursday to allow students, faculty and staff members to attend funeral services for Rhett Lathers. Funeral services will take place for 1 p.m. at the Brown Center on the Cowley College Campus, followed by the burial at Hope Cemetery. All other schools within the district will operate on a regular, full-day schedule. Lathers, a senior member of the ACHS football team died in a crash in Kay County on October 26th.
