The Cowley College Concert Band and Concert Choir took to the Robert Brown Theatre stage to perform a beautiful concert Tuesday in Arkansas City. The Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Michael Christensen, performed Legends of the Galaxy, Abracadabra, Hocus Pocus, and Gravity Wave. The Concert Choir, under the direction of Lindsay Allen, performed songs with a Civil War theme. Songs were, Taps, Johnny Has Gone for a Soldier, Tenting Tonight, Tell My Father, Dance for Love, Battle Hymn of the Republic, and Down by the Riverside.
