The Winfield Police Department and the Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce will co-host Coffee with a Cop on Friday, August 13 at 10 a.m. at the Chamber office, 123 E. 9th Ave. Community members are invited to come together with police officers and administrators in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee. Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work in Winfield’s neighborhoods. Information and applications for the upcoming citizens police academy will also be available at the event.
