From the city of Winfield: In observance of Independence Day, the refuse and recycling schedules will change the week of July 4th. The City of Winfield, Compost Facility will be OPEN Saturday, July 3rd, 2021, from 9am to 3pm, weather permitting. The City of Winfield, Neighborhood Trash Program will be CANCELED Saturday, July 3rd, 2021 and will re-open Saturday, July 10th, 2021 from 8am to 11am. The City of Arkansas City & City of Winfield, Recycling Center will be CLOSED Friday, July 2nd, and Saturday, July 3rd, 2021 and will re-open Friday, July 9th, and Saturday, June 10th, 2021 from 8am to 12pm. The Cowley County Landfill will be OPEN Saturday July 3rd and CLOSED Monday, July 5th, 2021 and will re-open Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 from 8am to 5pm.
