Cowley College is looking for a new athletic director. The college announced that Shane Larson will be leaving Arkansas City to become the new athletic director at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, IA. During the 2020-2021 season, every Tiger athletic program was ranked among the top-20 teams in the country during some point in their seasons. While in charge of the athletic programs at Cowley College, the Tigers perennially finished among the top-10 community colleges in the Daktronics NATYCAA Cup standings, which is an annual report that shows how all two year schools rank in postseason results for their institution
