From the Winfield Police Department: On April 14th around 9:30 p.m. a call was made to Winfield High School and a threat was made against the school. The Winfield Police Department was notified and immediately began investigating the threat. On April 15th the Winfield Police Department was notified by a local business that they had also received a threat phoned into them the night before. Both calls were from the same phone number. It was determined that the phone call had been made from outside of the United States. During the investigation a person of Interest was developed and interviewed. A juvenile male was arrested for his involvement in the threat against the school.
