Kansas lawmakers are closer to sending Governor Laura Kelly a bill that would require graduating high school students pass a civics exam. Students would be able to take the test multiple times until they pass. The Kansas Senate passed the bill on Wednesday, and the House had approved it earlier in the session. Now they need to settle their differences before sending it to the Governor.
