New law requires in person learning option for students

Governor Laura Kelly has signed a bill that requires all school districts in the state provide an in-person learning option for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Students must be allowed to come to school full-time if that’s their preference. The Governor said this bill would stop schools from getting away from full-time. She said every school in the state already is offering an in-person choice for students. She said Senate Bill 63 is a sign of faith that her administration wants everyone to get back to school.
