The City of Ark City will shift to a four-day sanitation schedule this week due to extremely cold temperatures. City offices remain open today, President’s Day, but city sanitation crews will not be working due to the extreme cold. Monday’s routes will not be picked up today. They will be picked up next Monday, February 22nd, instead. If a customer absolutely cannot wait until next Monday to have their trash picked up, they can call the Public Services Department and ask for it to be picked up later this week.
