MURDER CHARGES LEVELED

Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt announced on Monday, that two defendants pleaded guilty to crimes in connection with the July 2018 deaths of Alfred and Pauline Carpenter of Wichita. 36 year old Rusty Frasier of Texas, pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree premeditated murder. 32 year old Thomas Drake of Arkansas, pleaded guilty to one count of obstructing apprehension. Sentencing has not yet been scheduled in either case. Back in May, another defendant… 39 year old Christine Tenney of Texas, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated robbery and one count of obstructing apprehension in the same case, and in March, 54 year old Michael Fowler, Jr. of Florida, pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree murder and one count of theft. Sentencing remains pending in both those cases. Related charges against one additional defendant remain pending.
