ANOTHER DRUG SWEEP AND MORE ARRESTS IN ARK CITY

The crackdown on illegal drugs in Arkansas City continues… with police arresting three people on drug charges after executing a search warrant. 38 year old Branden Eagan faces five felony counts of aggravated endangering a child by exposure to the distributing of methamphetamine and three felony counts of possession of opiates. She also was arrested on two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count of aiding and abetting a felony drug crime. Eagan was locked up in the Cowley County Jail. 43 year old Claudia Hutton faces two felony counts of aggravated endangering a child by exposure to the distributing of methamphetamine, as well as one felony count each of no drug tax stamp, possession of opiates and use of a communication facility to commit a felony drug violation. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, aiding and abetting a felony drug crime, and possession of marijuana. Huttton was also sent to the Cowley County Jail. 46 year old Timothy Massey was charged with four felony counts each of no drug tax stamp and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, two felony counts of aggravated endangering a child by exposure to the distributing of methamphetamine, and one felony count of use of a communication facility to commit a felony drug violation. Massey was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia
and possession of marijuana. Massey was also locked up behind bars in the Cowley County Jail. An 11-year-old girl was taken into police protective custody.
