A note from USD 465 in Winfield: Due to increasing numbers of COVID positive cases with students and Lowell family members, USD 465 has called off school for Lowell students today, Tuesday, October 19th. Deep cleaning protocols will be followed for all areas of the Lowell facility. COVID testing will be offered to all Lowell students, staff, and families today and tomorrow. It’s offered at no cost, from 7am until 9am both days. Teachers are sending home work with students, and that work should be returned on October 25th. Conferences will be all virtual for Tuesday night and Wednesday. As a reminder, the school calendar already has October 20th, 21st, and 22nd as non-student contact days, and they are hoping to safely return to school on October 25th.
