Road Money Headed To Winfield

Governor Laura Kelly today announced 36 Kansas cities will receive a combined total of $23 million to improve highways and intersections as part of the Kansas Department of Transportation’s City Connecting Link Improvement Program (CCLIP). Winfield Police say due to the Cowley County Fair, vehicle inspections will be temporarily moved back to our station at 812 Millington. The dates impacted are: July 27th, 29th, and August 3rd. Inspections will return to Barn 4 at the Winfield Fairgrounds on August 5th.
