South Kansas Symphony coming back

The South Kansas Symphony (SKS) at Southwestern College is planning to be back for the 2021-2022 season. Additional instrumentalists are invited to join. The orchestra typically is a combination of collegiate players, community members, and high school students. Many musicians come from the Winfield and Arkansas City area, but others also come from as far as Wichita. Season tickets will be on sale this fall for patrons who wish to purchase tickets at a discount and have reserved seating for most symphony and pre-college string ensemble concerts ($35/adults and $15/children (5-18). Most South Kansas Symphony concerts are $10 for adults and $5 for children, with the exception of free concerts and the Chamber Gala fundraising event ($40 per person). The two main pre-college string ensemble concerts are $5 for adults and $2 for children (5-18).
